IV. Reflection in Literature

Through Literature I become creative in the sense i can now create my own poems and other composition. I also interpret the message of a poem and story. Just like the following poems that our instructor have discussed:

Ink
Guillermo Castillo
Pangasinan

I
Ink
Bottled in a glass prism
Meaningless in itself
Black and mute without a language
Silent but strongly-urged
To speak

2
Ink
Chance-impressed on white
Inarticulate unintelligible chaotic
Welcome on the bareness of white
But still foreign
Excommunicate

3
But ink
Pen-lifted pen-impressed
On blank white paper
Will-ordered
Interprets intensifies clarifies
Expresses
Life

Interpretation:
The poem "ink" describes a person who is imprison who doesn't have a freedom to defend himself because of judgement of others. When he given a chance to express himself there is still a foreign excommunicate. An ink is meaningful and useful if we know how to use it in a good way.
